This total is down 8.59% from last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which drew a rating of 0.37 in the 18-49 key demo. Last Wednesday’s rating of 0.37 is down 17.77% from last week’s rating of 0.45 in the 18-49 key demo. Last Wednesday’s rating of 0.37 in the 18-49 key demo represents around 480,000 total viewers that watched last Wednesday’s 2nd Anniversary episode of AEW Dynamite from that demo. This is down 18.36% from last week’s 588,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.
Last Wednesday night’s 2nd Anniversary episode of AEW Dynamite featured an announcement by Tony Khan, Bryan Danielson, Jurassic Express and IMPACT World Champion Christian Cage going up against The Elite (AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, Adam Cole and The Young Bucks) in a colossal 8-Man Tag Team Matchup, new TNT Champion Sammy Guevara defending his TNT Championship against the debuting Bobby Fish, Hikaru Shida vs. Serena Deeb, and a Casino Ladder Match, which was the main event, where the winner will get a future shot at the AEW World Title.
The viewership number of last Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite, which drew the lowest viewership and the lowest key demo rating since the All Out go-home episode on September 1st, was up 39.84% from the same week in 2020, which, at the time, competed against WWE’s NXT brand, while the 18-49 key demo rating was up 19.35% from the same week in 2020.
Last Wednesday night’s Dynamite ranked #4 for the night on the Cable Top 150 with a rating of 0.37 in the 18-49 key demo, while Dynamite ranked #29 in viewership for the night on cable. This ends the 6th week that AEW Dynamite has ranked #1 on the Cable Top 150, while the viewership is the same from last week’s ranking of #29.
