AEW Dynamite Viewership Slightly Up For Wednesday’s Show

Last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was able to draw a total of 833,000 viewers, while last Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite was able to draw a total of 840,000 viewers, reports Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and Showbuzz Daily.

This total is up 0.84% from last week’s AEW Dynamite, which drew a 0.33 rating in the key 18-49 demo. Last Wednesday night’s 0.33 rating is up 3.12% from last week’s rating of 0.32 in the key 18-49 demo. This past Wednesday night’s 0.33 rating in the 18-49 key demo represents around 430,000 total viewers that watched this past Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite from that demo. This is up 2.14% from last week’s 421,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.

Last Wednesday night’s live episode of AEW Dynamite from inside the UBS Arena at Belmont Park in Long Island, New York featured Danhausen facing Tony Nese in a Singles Match, Jericho Appreciation Society having a victory speech, the contract signing and stipulation reveal for MJF vs. Wardlow at Double Or Nothing, CM Punk taking on John Silver in Singles action, FTW Champion Ricky Starks defending his FTW Title against one-half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions Jungle Boy, Toni Storm facing Jamie Hayter in an Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Quarterfinals Match, Adam Cole battling one-half of the reigning AAA and ROH World Tag Team Champions Dax Harwood in an Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Quarterfinals Matchup and “The Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy going up against Darby Allin in an Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament Quarterfinals Matchup, which was the main event.

The viewership number of last Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which drew the second-lowest audience of the year so far as well as the fourth-lowest key demo rating of this year, was down 10.3% from the same week last year, while the key 18-49 demo rating was up 8% from the same week in 2021.

Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite ranked #5 for the night on the Cable Top 150, with a 0.33 rating in the 18-49 key demo, which is down from last week’s #4 ranking. This past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite episode ranked #36 in viewership for the night on cable, which is even from last week’s #36 ranking.
