This total is up 18.34% from last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which drew a 0.41 rating in the key 18-49 demo. This past Wednesday’s rating of 0.41 is up 17.14% from last week’s 0.35 rating in the key 18-49 demo. Last Wednesday’s 0.41 rating in the 18-49 key demographic represents around 541,000 total viewers that watched last Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite from that demo. This is up 18.64% from last week’s 456,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.
This past Wednesday’s live episode of Dynamite inside the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey featured an in-ring promo from MJF, a Face of The Revolution Qualifying Match between Tony Khan’s latest free agent signee Keith Lee and Isiah Kassidy, Serena Deeb’s 5 Minute Rookie Challenge, an Inner Circle Team Meeting, AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill defending her championship against A.Q.A. in an Open Challenge and AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page defending his AEW World Title against Lance Archer in a Texas Death Match, which was the main event.
The viewership number of this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite episode, which drew the best audience for the show since September 29 and the third-best key demo rating, tying with the January 26 Beach Break episode since moving to TBS, was up 52.36% from the same week in 2021, which battled WWE NXT in head-to-head competition and President Trump’s second impeachment trial, so massive cable news competition came from that, while the key 18-49 demo rating was up 41.37% from the same week in 2021.
Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite ranked #1 for the night on the Cable Top 150, with a 0.41 rating in the 18-49 key demo, which is up from last week’s #3 ranking. Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite episode ranked #26 in viewership for the night on cable, which is up from last week’s #37 ranking.
