AEW Dynamite Viewership Up For Last Wednesday’s Episode

Last week’s Dynamite was able to draw a total of 969,000 viewers, while this past Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite was able to draw a total of 1.032 million viewers, Showbuzz Daily and Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports.

This total is up 6.5% from last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which drew a 0.44 rating in the 18-49 key demo. This past Wednesday night’s rating of 0.44 is up 12.82% from last week’s 0.39 rating in the key 18-49 demo. Last Wednesday’s rating of 0.44 in the 18-49 key demo represents around 570,000 total viewers that watched this past Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite from that demo. This is up 12.87% from last week’s 505,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.

Last Wednesday’s live episode of Dynamite from inside the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. featured Jon Moxley’s return, CM Punk vs. Shawn Spears, Serena Deeb vs. Skye Blue, the return of AEW TNT Champion Cody Rhodes, Adam Cole and AEW Women’s World Champion Britt Baker vs. Orange Cassidy and Kris Statlander, Malakai Black and Brody King vs. Brian Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison, and Sting and Darby Allin vs. The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster), which was the main event.

The viewership number of this past Wednesday night’s Dynamite, which drew the best audience since the Second Anniversary AEW Dynamite episode on October 6 and the second-best key demographic rating since September 29, was up 20.8% from the same week in 2021, which went battled WWE’s NXT brand in head-to-head competition, while the key 18-49 demo rating was up 22.2% from the same week in 2021.

Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite ranked #1 for the night on the Cable Top 150, with a 0.44 rating in the 18-49 key demo, which is up from last week’s #3 ranking. This past Wednesday’s Dynamite ranked #29 in viewership for the night on cable, which is up from last week’s #31 ranking.
