This total is up 8.72% from last week’s AEW Dynamite, which drew a 0.31 rating in the 18-49 key demo. This past Wednesday night’s rating of 0.31 is down 6.1% from last week’s 0.33 rating in the key 18-49 demo. Last Wednesday’s 0.31 rating in the 18-49 key demo represents around 398,000 total viewers that watched this past Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite episode from that demo. This is down 7.44% from last week’s 430,000 total viewers in the 18-49 key demo.
Last Wednesday night’s live Winter Is Coming episode of AEW Dynamite inside the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas featured Wardlow taking on Matt Sydal in Singles action, Hikaru Shida facing Serena Deeb in a Women’s Division Singles Match, AEW World Champion Hangman Page defending his title against Bryan Danielson and MJF going up against Dante Martin in a Dynamite Diamond Ring Final, which was the main event.
The viewership number of this past Wednesday night’s Winter Is Coming episode of Dynamite, which drew the second-best viewership since the show started airing live on the West Coast on October 27 as well as which key demographic rating has tied with two other episodes for the lowest key demo rating since May 19 and which key demographic viewers was also the lowest for a Wednesday airing since May 19, was up 17.62% from the same week in 2020, which competed against WWE’s NXT in head-to-head competition at the time, while the key 18-49 demo rating was down 3.12% from the same week in 2020.
To compare, last Wednesday night’s Winter Is Coming episode of Dynamite was up 3.83% in viewership to last year’s Winter Is Coming episode of Dynamite, which aired on December 2nd, but down 26.19% in the key demo rating. Last year’s Winter Is Coming episode of Dynamite was able to draw a total of 913,000 viewers, with a 0.42 key demo rating. The viewership of AEW Dynamite hasn’t reached 1 million viewers yet since the show started airing live on the West Coast on October 27th.
Last Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite ranked #5 for the night on the Cable Top 150, with a 0.31 rating in the 18-49 key demo, which is even from last week’s #5 ranking. Last Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite ranked #31 in viewership for the night on cable, which is up from last week’s #36 ranking.
