AEW Files To Trademark The “Elite General Manager” Term

Last August 3, All Elite Wrestling filed to trademark the “Elite General Manager” term with the USPTO (the United States Patent and Trademark Office) under the category of downloadable game software. AEW released their brand-new and highly-anticipated AEW Elite General Manager mobile game this past July, and it has been made available on both Android and iOS devices.

All Elite Wrestling’s “Elite General Manager” mobile game, which was first announced back in November of 2020, is the promotion’s mobile wrestling management simulator that Crystallized Games created and it is also the second title released under the AEW Games banner.

The game also features players assuming the role of AEW Dynamite’s GM as the players will be drafting a roster of talents, building matches and running shows to generate revenues, new fans and effects on wrestlers’ stamina and morale. The video game also offers players the ability to play in head-to-head competition with other AEW Dynamite GMs around the world so that it can be determined who can run the best Dynamite show and claim the title of “Elite General Manager.”

Below is the use description AEW submitted to the USPTO:

“G & S: Downloadable game software; Downloadable computer game software for use on mobile and cellular phones; Downloadable electronic game software for use on handheld computers and mobile gaming devices; Downloadable video game software”
