AEW Reportedly Signs Three Stars To New Contracts

According to PWInsider.com, All Elite Wrestling has signed a tag team known as Bear Country, consists of Bear Bronson and Bear Boulder, and Mark Sterling to new contracts with the promotion. Bear Country made their AEW debut back in December of 2020, and the team has been appearing on both Dark and Dark: Elevation on a regular basis. They even competed in the Casino Tag Team Royale at AEW Revolution back in March. Prior to signing with AEW, Bear Country has worked for promotions such as Chaotic Wrestling as well as Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW) and Limitless Wrestling.

Mark Sterling made his first appearance for AEW as MJF’s lawyer during MJF’s feud against Jon Moxley. Prior to signing with AEW, Sterling has competed for promotions such as Create A Pro, WrestlePro, and Limitless Wrestling. Mark Sterling most recently partnered up with AEW rising star Jade Cargill to be her on-screen manager moving forward.

As of this writing, AEW has yet to make an official announcement on these recent signings and there’s no word yet on other contract details, but AEW EVP Cody Rhodes did reveal last year that it is likely Bear Country and Mark Sterling were working under a tier-0 contract with the company, which is a per-appearance deal and now signing with the company, they have been moved to a tier-1 contract.
