AEW Sells Out TNT Network Debut Show

All Elite Wrestling tweeted Friday that its TNT network debut show from Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. sold out. Tickets became available early Friday afternoon and got bought up in a matter of hours.

The network debut show will take place Wednesday, October 2. There are already a few announced matches and segments for the show. Cody Rhodes will take on Sammy Guevara in the main singles match. In a huge six-man tag match, Kenny Omega will team with The Young Bucks against Chris Jericho and “two mystery partners. In addition, Jon Moxley will make a live appearance and the AEW Women’s Championship match will take place.

It’s important to note that the sell out occurred today in a matter of hours. AEW Superstars such as Cody Rhodes, Brandi Rhodes and Matt Jackson tweeted out encouragement to fans to keep trying for tickets on Friday. Their tweets said online traffic caused so many ticket requests that it took time for their system to catch up.
