AEW Star Anna Jay’s Health Update After Undergoing Surgery

It was previously reported that AEW announced sometime last month that Women’s Star Anna Jay suffered a shoulder injury and is required to undergo surgery, meaning that she will be out of action for 6-12 months. It was also revealed that Jay suffered the injury back in January while she was training and not while she was competing in the ring during a match.

Anna Jay recently took to her Twitter and revealed that she just got out of her shoulder surgery, and all is well. Anna Jay also revealed for the next two days she will most likely sleep and eat only ice cream and soup, but after that, she will be working her ass off in any way she can in hopes of making her return to in-ring action.

This is what Anna Jay said:

“Hi everyone ? I just got out of my shoulder surgery, and all is well. For the next two days I will most likely sleep and eat only ice cream and soup. But after that…I will be working my ass off in any way I can. Thanks for all of the support and well wishes. ??❣️ -99”

Anna Jay last competed for AEW on the January 12th episode of Dark, when she won a Singles Match over Alex Gracia. She was supposed to be a part of the AEW Women’s Championship Eliminator Tournament, but was removed due to the injury. There’s no word yet on if Anna Jay’s 6-12 month timeframe of being out of action has changed, but updates will be provided as it becomes available.
