AEW Star Billie Starkz Seeks Permission from Blink 182 to Use ‘Aliens Exist’ as Entrance Theme

In a recent update from the world of pro wrestling, All Elite Wrestling’s (AEW) rising star Billie Starkz has expressed a desire to shake things up when it comes to her dramatic ring entrance. The intriguing twist? She wants to do it with a little help from the larger-than-life punk rock outfit, Blink 182.

According to Starkz’s recent tweet, she is setting her sights on using Blink 182’s 1999 hit song ‘Aliens Exist’ as her personal theme. Starkz, who has been notably active primarily on the Ring of Honor (ROH) brand associated with AEW, has appealed directly to the band via Twitter, requesting their permission to switch up her entrance.

Taking her request a step further, Starkz also hinted at the exciting possibility of having the band play the song live for her in the ring. Her exact words? “Dear Blink 182. Please give me permission to use ‘Aliens Exist’ for my entrance music everywhere. Also, it would be really cool if you could do it live sometime for me.”

While we’re yet to see a firm response from the members of Blink 182, it’s worth noting that AEW president Tony Khan has a history of green-lighting such requests. He’s been known to pay for the rights to popular songs as themes for his wrestling stars. Case in point? Bryan Danielson striding out to Europe’s ‘Final Countdown’, Rob Van Dam making an entrance to Pantera’s ‘Walk’, or The Gunns looming large to the beats of 50 Cent’s ‘Many Men Wish Death’.

As of now, Starkz continues to serve as a loyal minion for the ROH Women’s World Champion Athena on the ROH brand. But her latest music request might just signal a new phase of rebellion and individuality for this ambitious wrestling star.

Meanwhile, after captivating fans in and outside of the ring, Starkz will be present at the WrestleTalk Survivor Series Watch Party at the Long Arm Sports Bar & Pub in London, likely driving fans to a further frenzy.

This latest narrative from the dynamic world of AEW reaffirms its appeal – a compelling ensemble of unique characters, engaging stories, and, most importantly, unabashed showmanship driving the thrill of the spectacle. And the prospect of Starkz rocking a Blink 182 track just adds another layer to this riveting mix.
