Darby Allin recently filed to trademark his own in-ring name with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) for entertainment purposes. He had the trademark filing done through Attorney Seale Gwendolyn. Allin signed with AEW on April 12th, 2019 when the promotion just newly launched. At AEW’s Fyter Fest Event on June 29th, 2019, Allin made his AEW in-ring debut when he went up against AEW EVP Cody Rhodes in Singles action.
Since then, Allin has really made a name for himself and he even became the AEW TNT Champion at AEW’s Full Gear PPV Event on November 7th, 2020 when he beat “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes. Prior to signing with AEW, Allin proved himself on the independent scene when he worked for promotions such as EVOLVE Wrestling, Game Changer Wrestling and Progress Wrestling.
