AEW Star Jon Moxley’s In-Ring Return Officially Announced

Former WWE Star and current AEW Star Jon Moxley, who signed with All Elite Wrestling back in 2019 and made his promotional debut for the company at that year’s inaugural Event known as Double or Nothing, last competed for AEW on the October 27th episode of Dynamite, where he defeated Dark Order’s Preston “10” Vance in the first round of the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament. Shortly after that episode of Dynamite, Moxley voluntarily took time away from pro wrestling and admitted himself into a rehabilitation center for treatment on alcohol abuse.

Moxley’s last pro wrestling match took place on Saturday, October 30th, where he beat Jimmy Jacobs at The Wrestling Revolver’s Tales From The Ring 4 Event. Since then, Moxley has not appeared or competed on any pro wrestling related event, but that will change soon as Game Changer Wrestling recently made a huge announcement that Jon Moxley will be defending the GCW World Title against “The Notorious 187” Homicide at their The Wrld On GCW Event on Sunday, January 23rd. Homicide earned the right to take on Jon Moxley by winning the GCW Do Or Die Rumble at GCW’s Die For This Event this past New Year’s Day.

GCW’s The Wrld On GCW Event is set to take place on Sunday, January 23 at The Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, with the show airing on FITE TV and traditional PPV.
