Last weekend, Warriors Of Wrestling held their “Intergender Warfare” PPV Event from inside St. Finbar Catholic Church in Brooklyn, New York. AEW Star Abadon was on the card and she would face Joey Ace in an Intergender Singles Matchup, but at some point during the match, Abadon did a hurricanrana on Joey Ace, landed in a bad way and ended up getting injured. The match was immediately stopped and AEW Star Abadon was taken to a hospital.
According to PWInsider.com, AEW’s Abadon likely suffered a broken collarbone and will be on the shelf for the foreseeable future. There’s no word yet on the severity and the extent of Abadon’s injury and when she could be making her return to in-ring action, but updates will be provided as soon as it has been made available.
Abadon signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2020 and has mostly been featured on the AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation shows, but she did have a short feud with Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women’s World Title back in November of 2020. Abadon last competed for AEW during the November 4 Dark tapings, where she would defeat Leva Bates in Singles action.
