Another AEW Star Also Out Of Action Due To An Injury

The situation of AEW Stars being out of in-ring action has gotten worst over the past few days as now one of All Elite Wrestling’s fastest rising and brightest stars has been sidelined as well reportedly due to an undisclosed injury. According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program, one-half of the former AEW World Tag Team Champions Jungle Boy is currently out of in-ring action due to an undisclosed injury and that is the reason why he was not on this past Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite and it could also be the reason why he and Luchasaurus dropped the AEW World Tag Team Titles to The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson).

There is no word yet on the nature or the severity of the former AEW World Tag Team Champions’ injury or a timetable of when he could possibly make his return to action, but updates will be provided once it has been made available. During the Road Rager special episode of AEW Dynamite last June 15th, pro wrestling legend Christian Cage double-crossed Jungle Boy, starting a potential feud between the two.

Jungle Boy is the latest in a long list of AEW talents that are on the injured list and this couldn’t have come in the worst possible time as AEW and NJPW’s Forbidden Door PPV Event will take place later tonight from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The list of injured AEW Stars includes AEW World Champion CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, The Acclaimed’s Anthony Bowens, A.F.O.’s The Bunny, Red Velvet of The Baddies, Top Flight’s Darius Martin, Kenny Omega, Buddy Matthews of House Of Black and Skye Blue.
