Anthony Ogogo’s AEW Career On Borrowed Time Due To Eye Injury

Ever since Anthony Ogogo debuted for All Elite Wrestling, he has really made a name of himself and he has even been placed in one of the most dominant factions in the history of AEW, The Factory, with QT Marshall as the leader. Ogogo has been slated to be positioned as a main event Star, but while having a conversation with Sport and Life, he revealed that his career in AEW is on borrowed time due to the injury he is currently having on his eye.

Ogogo said he is essentially blind in his left eye and he hasn’t got great vision from the left side, which is why he can’t box anymore, unfortunately and that he is 78% blind in his left eye. Ogogo also said he’s not letting his eye injury take away a chance to be happy and successful, but he’s probably one big shot from his left eye being totally blind, but hopefully, it doesn’t come.

This is what Anthony Ogogo said:

“I’m essentially blind in my left eye.” “I haven’t got great vision from the left side, which is why I can’t box anymore, unfortunately. I’m 78% blind in my left eye. It’s rubbish. There are a lot of things I can’t do in wrestling now, but what am I going to do, sulk the rest of my life? I refuse to do that. I’m not letting this injury take away a chance to be happy and successful. I’m probably one big shot from my left eye being totally blind. Hopefully, it doesn’t come.”

Ogogo then said it is up to him to get hit in the eye and he will protect it like his life depends on it.

This is what Anthony Ogogo said:

“No, it’s up to me not to get hit in the eye. I’ll be protecting it like my life depends on it.”

Anthony Ogogo then talked about him doing very well and how he is in the deep end now as well as that big things are happening with him. Ogogo also said he’s not Tony Khan, but he has obviously impressed certain people with what he has been able to do and that he is on the cusp of big things. Anthony has also said that his eye is a ticking time-bomb and one big shot to his eye and his career is done. The AEW Star then said it could happen even next week that is why he wants to be successful as quickly as possible because he doesn’t know how long his career is going to last.

This is what Anthony Ogogo said:

“I guess I’m doing well.” “I’m in the deep end now and big things are happening with me. I’m not Tony Khan, but I’ve obviously impressed certain people with what I’ve been able to do. I’m on the cusp of big things. I beat up Cody Rhodes. Him and Chris Jericho are the two biggest stars in AEW and I’ve beaten up Cody three times now. Left him in a heap in the middle of the ring. My eye is a ticking time-bomb, I’m very aware of that. One big shot to my eye and my career is done. It could happen next week. I want to be successful as quickly as possible because I don’t know how long my career is going to last.”
