Aubrey Edwards Calls An Audible During Cassidy-PAC Match

Last Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite featured a Singles Match between Orange Cassidy and PAC, but the match didn’t go as it was originally intended to as we saw the finish of the match was changed due to some unforeseen circumstances.

According to PWInsider.com, the match between Cassidy and PAC was supposed to end in a 20-minute draw as a way to set up a Three-Way Match at Double Or Nothing, but the match finish was changed when both PAC and Cassidy were counted out after Kenny Omega attacked PAC.

The match finish was reportedly changed due to Orange Cassidy getting hurt after being on a receiving end of a sunset flip powerbomb on the floor. There was no doubt that Cassidy was hurt pretty bad when his face turned bright red, which is why referee Aubrey Edwards didn’t want to take any chances or to risk anything, so she decided to call an audible to save Cassidy from getting more hurt or taking any more damage.
