Backstage News On The Possibility Of An Elite Deletion Match

Ever since Matt Hardy made his debut in All Elite Wrestling, he and Chris Jericho has been involved in a feud from the get-go that could possibly be one of the greatest feuds in the history of pro wrestling. Over the past couple of weeks, Hardy and Jericho have been going back-and-forth and cutting promos on the other.

That continued during this past Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite when Hardy responded to Chris Jericho’s comments from last week’s episode of Dynamite and invited Chris Jericho to his Hardy Compound for an “Elite Deletion” match, which sounds like it would be similar to a previous match Hardy did at his compound called The Ultimate Deletion Match.

Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program reported that the “Elite Deletion” match is something which is not sure to actually happen, but the match is reportedly under heavy consideration to take place.

There is no word yet on why the promo of the match was done if the match is still not sure to happen and is still being considered for a taping at a future date at Matt Hardy’s home in North Carolina, but that was reportedly the response given when asked.

You can check out the promo in the video below:
