According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, he recently had a talk with a Stanford sports business professor, who has been following All Elite Wrestling since they were established back in January 1st, 2019 and when they were discussing about putting a market value on the company, the amount that was given was $400 million.
A comment was also made by Dave Meltzer on his Twitter account several days back on AEW President and CEO Tony Khan hosting a podcast called “4 Weeks” after a fan made a joke about it on his Twitter. The “4 weeks” podcast is a direct reference to pro wrestling legend Eric Bischoff’s “83 Weeks” podcast as the show was named after how WCW Nitro defeated WWE RAW in the ratings for 83 straight weeks.
Meltzer took to his Twitter and wrote, “I think it’ll be called how I turned a $25 million investment into a company worth $400 million in two plus years.”
