Bash At The Beach Scores Big Ratings Win Against NXT

The Bash at the Beach-themed episode of AEW Dynamite ratings are in and Wednesday’s episode is basically even with last week and way ahead of NXT again for the second week in a row.

AEW averaged 940,000 viewers with a 0.38 rating in the 18-49 demo.
That gave Dynamite fifth place on the night on cable TV. The show was up six percent from last week.

NXT, however, averaged 700,000 views which is down three percent from last week. The show finished 31st on the night on cable TV. The 18-49 demo rating was 0.21. Up 11 percent from last week.

AEW beat NXT in every demo again except for people over 50. NXT drew an 0.35 rating to AEW’s 0.34. That is a very narrow margin.

The biggest gap with the most important demos was in men 18-49. AEW almost doubled NXT with a 0.51 rating to 0.26. That is the demo advertisers really care about the most.

The only major sports competition on the night was an NBA game on ESPN. That game averaged 1.128 million viewers. The rest of the top shows were news programs.
