Big Title Change Takes Place At AEW Double Or Nothing

Last night’s AEW Double or Nothing PPV Event saw Britt Baker defeat Hikaru Shida to become the brand-new AEW Women’s World Champion. The match saw Baker utilize a lockjaw submission on Hikaru to get the submission victory. Shida was the AEW Women’s World Champion for 373 days before she lost it to Baker on last night’s PPV.

Immediately after the match, Baker celebrated her victory with Rebel in the ring, and then was met on the stage by her close friend Tony Schiavone for a hug.
