As was reported by my colleague here at Pro Wrestling News Hub, ex-NXT wrestler and Undisputed Era member, Bobby Fish, will be premiering on AEW Dynamite this upcoming week. Well, we’ve got some comments that the former NXT talent has made about the debut and how excited he is. We also have news on Ric Flair and his appearance on the very popular and often controversial Joe Rogan podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. All that and a whole lot more in this piece.
Bobby Fish comments on his AEW Premiere, and it was on an episode of Busted Open Radio. He said of his departure from the NXT brand and WWE altogether and his challenge to the new TNT champ, Sammy Guevara—a challenge that was accepted by the new TNT Champ:
“…I feel like I was ready in my career for a fresh coat of paint, so to speak, and here we are. It wasn’t orchestrated. I didn’t seek it out. Some things fell into place. It’s happened, and I have a new lease on my wrestling life, and I can’t wait to go at this thing with guns blazing…I’m home watching AEW just like everybody else. I see this thing go down, and I’m thinking to myself, ‘That title and this mustache would look fantastic together. I can either sit on my hands here and do nothing, or I can put my name in the ring, so to speak, and see what happens’, so that’s what I did…”

Fish will also be wrestling at the Opera Cup for MLW, which has had extensive coverage as of late and since his release from NXT. The tapings were set to start on Saturday October 2nd. The eight man tournament features: Lee Moriarty, Bobby Fish, Tom Lawlor, Davey Richards, Calvin Tankman, Matt Cross, TJP and of course Alex Shelley.
According to PW Insider, Nicole Savoy, who was also on the card, sustained quite the injury. As of this writing, no other information has been disclosed, but the tapings promise to be something special for sure.
As for Bobby Fish’s match against Sammy Guevara for the TNT Championship, it’s set for this week’s Dynamite.
“The Nature Boy” to have a sit down chat with Joe Rogan on The Joe Rogan Experience
As has been reported by E-Wrestling News, Ric Flair is set to appear on The Joe Rogan Experience, and according to a tweet the nature Boy sent out into the Twitterverse, he’s roaring and raring to go one-on-one with the MMA expert.
Flair has been drenched in controversy as of late, and all due to some depictions of him on two recent episodes of Dark Side of the Ring on Vice…one episode detailing the events on the infamous Plane Ride from Hell, in which loads of stuff apparently went down on an ill-fated chartered plane ride back from a WWE European tour back in the early 2000s, and in an episode about the late Chris Kanyon.
It’ll be interesting to watch this conversation from start to finish for sure.

Also of note, Brock Lesnar is also slated to be a guest in the upcoming future, and in the few dozen names announced, screen legend and writer/director, Sylvester Stallone is also set to appear.
