ROH, which is now owned by AEW President and CEO Tony Khan as well, had a huge event this past Friday night called Supercard Of Honor and it was the promotion’s inaugural PPV with Tony Khan as the brand-new owner as well as the promotion’s inaugural event coming out of a major hiatus. ROH’s Supercard Of Honor has been praised by both the fans and the talents and is reportedly a great success, with Samoa Joe making his return to AEW/ROH, FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) becoming the brand-new ROH World Tag Team Champions, Wheeler Yuta becoming the new ROH Pure Champion and officially becoming All Elite and more.
Top AEW Star “The Influencer” Chris Jericho took to his Twitter account and made a bold prediction on AEW President and CEO Tony Khan, who is also the owner of ROH, that he will take over both the sports entertainment and pro wrestling business in North America within the next 5 years and will become the top promoter in both businesses. Former WWE Star Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) took to his Twitter and jokingly responded to The Influencer by saying he can help run the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars if Tony Khan gets too busy.
