Chris Jericho On Fan Saying He Botched Cassidy Match Finish

“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy got the biggest win of his entire professional wrestling career during last week’s episode of Dynamite when he defeated “Le Champion” Chris Jericho in a “$7,000 Obligation Match.”

As the match was coming to a close, Cassidy used a pinning combination he frequently uses on the Indies called the Mousetrap Pin. However, a number of fans took to social media and said that the move was botched as “Le Champion” Chris Jericho was supposed to fall forward from his knees instead of backward.

One fan wrote on Twitter, “Oh OK, so you don’t actually have an excuse for f–king up the finish,” to which Jericho responded, “Went exactly as planned baby….”
