A backstage interview segment featuring Christian took place during last night’s episode of Dynamite, where we saw the pro wrestling legend get interrupted by SCU’s Frankie Kazarian.
Kazarian then talked about Christian Cage’s shirt, which reads, “Out. Work. Everyone.” and asked Captain Charisma when the work part of Christian’s new catchphrase begins. Christian then responded and told Kazarian next week on AEW Dynamite, setting up their one-on-one matchup.
Christian’s one-on-one bout against Frankie Kazarian next week on Dynamite will reportedly be his AEW in-ring debut. This will be the first traditional wrestling match for “Captain Charisma” Christian in over seven years. Prior to signing with AEW, Christian made his in-ring return at January’s WWE Royal Rumble Event.
Christian’s last traditional wrestling match took place on the March 24th, 2014 episode of Monday Night RAW when he competed in a Fatal Four-Way Match, which coincidentally took place seven years prior to last night’s Dynamite episode.
