CM Punk Is Open To The Idea Of Forming A Long-Term Trio

Professional wrestling veteran and top AEW Star CM Punk, who is recognized as “The Best In The World” in all of wrestling, recently took part in a Q&A sessions with fans on his Twitter, with one fan even asking CM Punk if he would be open to the idea of forming a long-term trios tag team with Darby Allin and “The Icon” Sting, to which Punk responded, “F*ck yeah.”

On the December 22 Holiday Bash episode of AEW Dynamite, CM Punk teamed with Darby Allin and Sting to defeat MJF and AAA Tag Team Champions FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) in Trios action. On December 2, 2020, which was the first-ever Winter Is Coming episode of AEW Dynamite, Allin and Sting had their first face-to-face encounter and since then, they have been teaming together and have yet to suffer a loss.

CM Punk made his AEW debut on the company’s First Dance special episode of Rampage in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois last August 20, 2021. His first feud in All Elite Wrestling was against Darby Allin with their match taking place at the 2021 All Out PPV Event last September 5.
