CM Punk Responds To Fan Criticism That AEW Caters To Fans

The main event of this past Friday night’s episode of AEW Rampage saw IMPACT World Champion Christian Cage and Frankie Kazarian defeat the team of AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and Brandon Cutler in Tag Team action. Immediately after AEW Rampage went off the air, Christian Cage and Frankie Kazarian, who were still celebrating their huge win in the middle of the ring, was joined by CM Punk. Christian, CM Punk and Kazarian were interacting with the fans inside the UWM Panther Arena in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to send them home happy.

A fan on Twitter, who’s tweet has now been deleted, posted a message on social media that did not sit well with CM Punk as the fan felt that AEW had really sunk so low that they feel the need to cater to the fans after a show. Punk then responded to the fan and said, “We are going to sink so low catering to paying fans we’ll be at the center of the earth around 10pm CT on September 5th.”

CM Punk will be making his in-ring return for the first time in 7 years, when he faces Darby Allin at the upcoming All Out PPV Event on Sunday, September 5th.
