CM Punk Sends Out Cryptic Post Ahead Of Rumored AEW Debut

Former WWE Champion CM Punk, who is one of the most popular and controversial wrestlers in all of pro wrestling, has been rumored to make his highly-anticipated and most-awaited All Elite Wrestling debut this coming Friday on the First Dance special episode of AEW Rampage in Chicago. He’s also rumored to make his AEW debut at the All Out PPV Event on September 5, which is also set to take place in Punk’s hometown of Chicago, but nothing has been confirmed yet as of this writing.

For weeks now, several hints and teases have made been to further fuel the rumors of Punk’s AEW debut such as Darby Allin cutting a promo on AEW Dynamite, where he said he wanted to face the “Best in the World,” AEW President and CEO Tony Khan telling the fans that they should “know what to expect on the second episode of Rampage,” Adam Rank of the NFL Network name dropping CM Punk and saying that Punk’s debut will be the most-anticipated debut in Chicago when he shows up this Friday at the United Center for AEW Rampage and CM Punk name dropping the “all elite” term while he was performing his commentary duties during the recent CFFC MMA Event.

Punk recently took to his Instagram and fueled the rumors and speculations even more of his AEW debut when he sent out the cryptic post, “05, 11, 21” CM Punk did not provide an explanation as to what the numbers mean, but there have been speculations among the fans that these could be the years he signed major pro wrestling contracts in.

Back in 2005, CM Punk originally signed his WWE developmental deal, then in 2011, Punk signed a much-talked-about WWE main roster contract, which was used in the storylines. The last number in the post, which is 21, represents the present year, in which Punk is rumored to sign a contract with AEW or the former WWE Champion could even surprise everyone and sign with the WWE instead.
