Due to the coronavirus pandemic, several pro wrestling promotions have been postponing and cancelling their shows. Some promotions, on the other hand, have been pushing through with their shows, but with no audience at all.
A fan recently took to Twitter and asked All Elite Wrestling Executive Vice President “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes what his thoughts are on AEW continuing storylines without a crowd due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As previously reported, AEW has done a number of changes to their Dynamite schedule due to the coronavirus pandemic. This coming Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite was moved from Rochester, New York to Jacksonville, Florida. It was also announced that the Dynamite show in Jacksonville, Florida will be managed under a “restricted attendance policy.”
You can check out the fans’ tweet below along with Cody Rhodes’ response:
A lot of folks are sitting at home. Some scared…all bored. Just like real community leaders have come forward, entertainment leaders have to follow suit(safely). People need to laugh, cry, forget, love, all the good stuff. My personal opinion, we shouldn’t hold back.— Cody (@CodyRhodes) March 14, 2020
