Cody Rhodes to Appear at Cancer Fundraiser

All Elite Wrestling Superstar Cody Rhodes on Tuesday announced he will take part in a wrestling show to benefit the Canadian Cancer Center this August. Here is the information Rhodes tweeted on his official account:

Rhodes will appear at Fighting Back 9: Wrestling with Cancer. The event takes place on August 16 at St. Anthony’s Banquet Hall in Ottawa. All proceeds go to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Organizers started the event in 2012 after the tragic passing of local indie wrestling star Francois “Phrank” Morin. Following his death, the event was decided to take place and raise funds in Phrank’s name.

“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes will stay busy this summer. He will take on Darby Allin on June 29 at AEW Fyter Fest in Daytona Beach, Fla. Then, he will team with his brother Dustin to face The Young Bucks at Fight for the Fallen on July 13 in Jacksonville, Fla. AEW tweeted that tickets remain for Fight for the Fallen.
