Cody Rhodes will defend his AEW TNT Championship against Sonny Kiss at this Wednesday’s Fight for the Fallen episode of Dynamite on TNT. Some internet trolls don’t think too highly of Kiss.
Sonny considers himself gender-fluid and, while competing in the men’s division in AEW, he has been very open about his sexuality. This makes a particular portion of the US population uncomfortable.
Rhodes responded to a fan who took issue with The American Nightmare’s choice of the opponent at Fight For The Fallen. The ‘fan’ either got his account banned on Twitter or deleted it.
“This is terrible. And you’re not worth the signal boost. But I’ll make this clear to fans worldwide. If you have a problem with a gay man receiving a title shot, you can kiss my ass. I’m proud to share the ring with Sonny. “
