Could Jon Moxley Show Up At Impact’s Final Resolution?

With the recent news of a partnership between AEW and Impact Wrestling, the rumor mill has been in full swing.

One interesting piece of information unearthed today is that Mexican promotion AAA allegedly tried to book Jon Moxley for their upcoming supershow Triplemania 28 on December 12th. However, AAA were told that Jon Moxley was unavailable on that particular date.

Coincidentally, or perhaps not so, is that Impact Wrestling’s Final Resolution PPV is also on December 12th. With Kenny Omega making an appearance on next week’s Impact, is it possible that Moxley might also be making his way to the Impact Zone in some capacity?

Despite the possibilities, there could be other reasons why Moxley wouldn’t be allowed to appear at the AAA show. Moxley’s AEW contract states that he can’t wrestle for NJPW on American soil, and this restriction could also apply to AAA (despite it being based in Mexico). Another possibility is that Moxley may be headed to Japan for a surprise appearance at Wrestle Kingdom 15 on January 4th, 2021.

AEW have maintained a solid relationship with AAA since their formation. Also scheduled to appear at Triplemania 28 is Kenny Omega (the current AAA Mega Champion), Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr. Both the AAA Mega Championship and the AAA Tag Team Championships have been defended on AEW television in the past.
