David Benoit On Wanting To Join All Elite Wrestling

David Benoit, Chris Benoit’s 26-year-old son, was recently a guest on the Pro and Bro Wrestling Podcast, where he talked about a number of things including no longer being allowed backstage at WWE Events as well as wanting to join All Elite Wrestling.

Benoit’s backstage ban at WWE Events reportedly came from him wearing an AEW jacket while he was backstage at a WWE Live Event back in March, which you can check out in the tweet below.

That doesn’t seem to be the case as he was seen backstage at a WWE Live Event in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada this past weekend with WWE Superstars Natalya, Tyson Kidd, and Cesaro, as seen in the tweet below:

David Benoit then revealed that he wanted to join All Elite Wrestling.

This is what David Benoit said:

I’m just messing around in the ring right now with a couple of guys from AEW.” “I want to go to AEW one hundred percent. I love AEW. I love what they do for the boys. Take care of them.”

This interview was reportedly done two weeks prior to David Benoit attending this past weekend’s WWE Live Event in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
