During ROH’s recent Final Battle: End Of An Era PPV, top AEW Stars FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) made an appearance and got physical with the brand-new ROH World Tag Team Champions The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe) after The Briscoes captured the championship from former ROH World Tag Team Champions The OGK (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett).
The Briscoes and FTR have been going back-and-forth on social media on possibly having a match in the near future and the AEW Stars have even mentioned that they have been wanting to face The Briscoes in a match for quite some time now. The Briscoes took to their Twitter and revealed that what FTR did at Final Battle was a mistake and that it’s just a matter of time when their match will take place. Mark and Jay Briscoe even told AEW President and CEO Tony Khan to send them a plane ticket or a bus ticket or to let them use his private jet.
FTR’s Dax Harwood responded to The Briscoes, when he took to Twitter and invited them to show up this coming Wednesday night in Greensboro, North Carolina on the Holiday Bash edition of AEW Dynamite. Dax Harwood’s tweet came after a fan took to Twitter and questioned him if he was worried Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe might interfere in their Trios Match with MJF against CM Punk, Sting and Darby Allin, to which Harwood emphatically responded “Hell No” and they should come to Greensboro and give them their payday from the Final Battle PPV Event because they made The Briscoes more relevant in 4 minutes than they have been in the last 4 years.
The main event of this coming Wednesday night’s Holiday Bash edition of AEW Dynamite will see MJF and FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) face Sting, Darby Allin and CM Punk in Trios action.
