Don Callis Tries To Clear The Air With NJPW’s Bullet Club

During the main event of this past Wednesday night’s episode of Dynamite, top NJPW Star KENTA and AEW World Champion Kenny Omega defeated the duo of Jon Moxley and Lance Archer in a Falls Count Anywhere/Anything Goes Match.

The match would see the IMPACT World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers assist Kenny Omega and KENTA win the match as Omega hit Archer with his one-winged angel finisher.

Immediately after AEW Dynamite went off the air, a post-show press conference took place, where Kenny Omega, Don Callis and The Good Brothers (Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson) took questions which were the direct references to NJPW’s Bullet Club’s comments towards them, but they wanted to clear the air.

For weeks, Tama Tonga has been calling them out for saying that they are Bullet Club when they are no longer active members. Jay White also said that he is still Bullet Club and he’s the real Bullet Club and the real Bullet Club is right there in NJPW.

Jay White also said that they’re not a cheap rip-off trying to recreate the past and trying to regain some relevance and doing corny reunions just so they can sell sh**ty t-shirts to the fans.

According to Don Callis, NJPW’s Bullet Club are good guys, but you don’t replace Michael Jordan, when pointing at Kenny Omega. Don Callis also said when Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers left, it left an opportunity for some mid-card guys to move up the chain and fly the flag, referring to Tama Tonga and Jay White, among others.

Callis continued to throw some shots at NJPW’s Bullet Club by asking fans to help support them by buying their merchandise, which means that we may be seeing a lot more crossover of talents and segments as well as matches in the coming weeks and/or months between AEW and NJPW.
