Dustin Rhodes Says 2023 Will Be His Last Year As A Wrestler

Pro wrestling legend and AEW Star Dustin Rhodes has had one hell of a Hall of Fame career and he will most definitely go down as one of the greatest in-ring performers of all time, but it looks like time is winding down for The Natural and his career as an in-ring competitor will soon come to an end. The pro wrestling legend announced at a recent Blizzard Brawl show that this coming 2023 will be his last year as a pro wrestler, which will most likely happen by the month of November as he revealed a month prior that he had about a year left on his AEW contract.

Dustin Rhodes, who is most notably known as Goldust in WWE, made his pro wrestling debut in September 1988. He worked for the WWE on a number of runs on and off from 1995 to 2019 and he also worked for a number of other top pro wrestling promotions such as TNA Wrestling and WCW. Rhodes is a former 2-time WCW World Tag Team Champion, 1-time WCW 6-Man Tag Team Champion as well as a 2-time WCW United States Heavyweight Champion. Rhodes has also become the 3-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, the 9-time WWE Hardcore Champion, the 1-time WWE World Tag Team Champion and the 2-time WWE Tag Team Champion.

The Natural” Dustin Rhodes, who also works as a coach in AEW, last competed for the promotion on the August 26 episode of Rampage when he came up short against then-ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli for the ROH World Title.
