Dustin Rhodes Says Will Retire If Loses To Kip Sabian On Dynamite

On Saturday AEW has released a clip from their latest “Road To” episode slated to premiere tonight at 7 pm ET. In the clip, Dustin Rhodes leaves Cody a voice mail stating that if he can’t beat Kip Sabian this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite he will retire from pro wrestling.

“Hey man, it’s your big brother here. I want to run a couple of things by you. As you know, I soul-search every f*cking week, asking myself the question,’Can I still do this?’My soul searching has led me to this. This TNT Tournament is the most important thing I’ve done since wrestling you at Double or Nothing, hands down.

To be the first TNT Champion means every frickin’ thing you can possibly imagine to me. One of the things I really want to discuss with you. I’d really like to talk with you instead of texting you this or voice mailing you this. Look, this guy Kip Sabian is no joke. If I cannot beat that son of a b**ch, I will retire. So give me a call back will you man. See you later buddy, I love you.”
