Early Estimated PPV Buys For AEW’s Revolution PPV Event

All Elite Wrestling recently held their Revolution PPV, which was their first major PPV Event of 2022 and it featured AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page putting his AEW World Championship on the line against Adam Page in the main event, CM Punk battling MJF in a Dog Collar Match and AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. defending her title against Thunder Rosa. AEW’s Revolution PPV Event is reportedly one of the most successful PPV Events in company history as Dave Meltzer mentioned on a recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio Program that the early numbers show the Revolution PPV drew a total of 110,000 PPV buys on Bleacher Report and FITE.

Meltzer also noted that the satellite numbers he has seen appears to not be good at all, but a number from one of the major cable providers show really good figures and the PPV could end up with a low of 146,000 buys and a high of 165,000-170,000 buys, which could translate into Revolution becoming AEW’s second biggest PPV Event in history or possibly even the third biggest in history, but it will surely beat last year’s event. The 2022 Revolution PPV Event is only behind the 2021 All Out PPV, which drew over 200,000 buys.

Wrestlenomics reports that All Elite Wrestling has drew more than 110,000 buys in their last 4 Events and that includes the 2021 Revolution Event, which drew 135,000 buys, the 2021 Double Or Nothing PPV, which drew 115,000 buys, the 2021 All Out PPV, which drew 205,000 buys, and the 2021 Full Gear Event, which drew 145,000 buys, meaning that the company has really been successful in running their PPVs.
