At Freelance Wrestling / Freelance Underground’s recent Game Of The Genders Event in Frankfort, Illinois, former AEW Star Kylie Rae returned to in-ring action.
It was originally scheduled to be an Intergender Match between Isaias Velazquez and Shotzi Blackheart, but unfortunately for Blackheart, she wasn’t cleared to compete in the match, which is why Kylie Rae replaced her on short notice, but even with only a limited time to prepare, Kylie Rae still came out on top.
All Elite Wrestling CEO and President Tony Khan previously announced that Kylie Rae has been released from the company, but that there were no “hard feelings” between the two sides. Prior to Kylie Rae’s return to in-ring action at Freelance Wrestling / Freelance Underground’s recent event, she has been out of action for the past few months due to a medical issue.
