FTR, who recently made their much-anticipated All Elite Wrestling debuts and is one of the top tag teams in the company, took part in a fan Q&A not too long ago from Dax Harwood’s Instagram account.
During the Q&A, FTR was asked who, out of everyone, they wanted to work with that they didn’t get the chance to.
According to FTR (F.K.A. The Revival in WWE), they got to work with everybody they wanted to, but the feud that they had with The Usos was completely mishandled. FTR also said that their matches and feud against The Usos could have done so much for tag team wrestling in WWE, but it never came.
This is what FTR said:
“Well, I think we got to work with everybody we wanted to, but I think that the feud that we had with The Usos was completely mishandled.” “Only because it’s tag team [wrestling], and we’re only five-foot-ten guys with a southern accent, from North Carolina. That match, that feud could’ve done so much for tag team wrestling in WWE, but it never came. It was refreshing, and those are two guys that we tested our skills against.”
FTR then talked about the magic they had with The Usos during their matches on live events and even on the June 2019 episodes of RAW. FTR said that they’ll be forgotten because they were never marquee match-ups.
This is what FTR said:
“It would’ve been magical. There was a lot of magic made on the live events and even [on] some of the RAWs. If you go back and look at those RAWs from June of 2019, we had some barn-burners with The Usos, but they’ll be forgotten because they were never marquee match-ups.”
Cash Wheeler then said that if The Usos are watching and they are 100% and if they ever get the chance to, then they should have a match that they know they could have.
This is what Cash Wheeler said:
“So, if you Usos are watching, when you guys [are] 100 percent.” “If we ever get the chance to, let’s have the match that we know we could’ve.”
