Top All Elite Wrestling Star Matt Hardy recently spoke with AEW President and CEO Tony Khan regarding a match he feels should take place on Dynamite later on tonight.
Hardy says that he doesn’t want to wait until Sunday’s Revolution PPV to get his hands on Hangman Page, which is why he suggested for a match to take place on Dynamite between himself and Private Party’s Marq Quen going up against Adam “Hangman” Page and Dark Order’s John Silver.
Tony Khan took to his Twitter and announced that he just had a long talk with a good friend and he is going to make a significant change to one of the matches for tonight’s Dynamite.
This is what Tony Khan said:
“I just had a long talk with a good friend & I’m going to make a significant change to one of the matches for #AEWDynamite tomorrow night Live on @tntdrama! An announcement will be coming soon. Thank you very much to you great fans who support @AEW & all pro wrestling & wrestlers!”
Khan was then asked why he made the change and felt like adding Hangman Page was necessary. Khan said Matt Hardy asked for this match and that he was right that it was a much bigger TV match with Hangman Page involved as he has won 6 straight matches and he is one of the hottest wrestlers in the world.

The Tag Team Match between Matt Hardy and Private Party’s Marq Quen vs. Hangman Page and Dark Order’s John Silver has officially been added to tonight’s episode of Dynamite and the match that John Silver and Matt Hardy was supposed to be a part of, which is a huge 10-Man Tag Team Match between Dark Order (John Silver, Alex Reynolds, Stu Grayson, Evil Uno and Alan “5” Angels) vs. Matt Hardy, Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) and TH2 (Angelico and Jack Evans), will no longer be taking place.
Hardy is set to face Page at this Sunday’s Revolution PPV in a Big Money Match, where the winner gets their opposition’s 2021 Q1 earnings.
