Jack Swagger Could Be Surprise At AEW First Dynamite Show

All Elite Wrestling and WWE are sure to have a couple of surprises in store this Wednesday. Both shows are going head to head for the first time to begin the new iteration of the Wednesday Night TV wars.

One former WWE Superstar Jack Swagger could be part of that surprise. Sports Illustrated noted that Swagger could make his debut this Wednesday for All Elite Wrestlings first Dynamite show.

In other wrestling news, a potential surprise for AEW’s premiere on TNT, Sports Illustrated has learned, is Jake Hager, better known from his WWE run as Jack Swagger. An ardent Trump supporter and legitimate big guy, Hager would fit in nicely as a villain for the promotion. He would also add depth to the card, and his work in Bellator MMA could have crossover appeal for AEW.

Swagger’s name has come up in the past as a possible good fit with AEW. He has appeared in various independent wrestling shows and on Lucha Underground.

Swagger left WWE in 2017 to pursue an MMA fighting career. He currently fights for Bellator MMA and has a match scheduled for the end of October.
