Jericho Talks Future Matchup With Orange Cassidy And More

One of AEW’s top star “Le Champion” Chris Jericho recently took part in another edition of his Saturday Night Special Youtube series, where he spoke about a future match with Orange Cassidy. Jericho said that the match could happen at Fyter Fest or sometime after.

This is what Chris Jericho said:

“There will be a story with ‘Blood’ Orange Cassidy and Chris Jericho.” “I think we already announced the match for Fyter Fest. And this next week… No, we haven’t announced the match for Fyter Fest yet. I think at some point we will either be wrestling at Fyter Fest or sometime after.”

Jericho also talked about his match on Wednesday’s Dynamite where he will team up with his Le Sex Gods partner “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara to go up against Best Friends in a #1 Contender’s Match for the AEW World Tag Team Titles, the winners of which will move on to Fyter Fest to challenge the AEW World Tag Team Champions Hangman Page and Kenny Omega.

This is what Chris Jericho said:

“There are a couple of other things going on too.” “Actually this week on AEW Dynamite, the Best Friends have put up their #1 contenders for the AEW Tag Team Championships against Le Sex Gods. So if Le Sex Gods beat Best Friends, then we are the #1 contenders. Can you imagine, Le Sex Gods vs. Kenny Omega and Hangman Page. So what match is coming up, will it be Jericho vs. Orange Cassidy, maybe? Is it going to be Le Sex Gods vs. Kenny and Hangman after we beat the crap out of the Best Friends, this week? We will have to wait and see.”

AEW Fyter Fest is set to take place on Wednesday, July 1st and July 8th at 8PM ET on TNT.
