Tonight’s AEW Dynamite premiere will see AEW World Champion Chris Jericho team up with two mystery tag partners. They will go up against the trio called The Elite, which consists of The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) and Kenny Omega in Six-Man Tag Team action.
It was recently announced by All Elite Wrestling that Chris Jericho’s mystery tag partners will be revealed during the Countdown to AEW Dynamite show on TNT. It was speculated that Santana and Ortiz will be those mystery tag partners.
As revealed on the Countdown to AEW Dynamite special on TNT, Chris Jericho will indeed be joined by Santana and Ortiz as they face The Elite. It was also revealed by Tony Schiavone that the Six-Man Tag Team Match will be the main event of tonight’s AEW Dynamite premiere. The huge news was then later confirmed by All Elite Wrestling via Twitter.
Santana and Ortiz made their AEW debuts at the All Out PPV Event when they appeared out of nowhere and attacked The Lucha Brothers as well as The Young Bucks from behind following their brutal and unforgiving Ladder Match.
