John Skyler Out Six Months After Injury On AEW Dark

AEW wrestler John Skyler suffered a major knee injury during his match on AEW Dark this week. He announced the injury via his Facebook account.

“Last Wednesday, in what can only be described as an unavoidable freak accident (nobody’s fault), in one fell swoop….I suffered tears in my ACL, MCL, and PCL in my right knee…that will sadly, keep me from doing what I love for a little while (projected to be around six months). Decisions on inevitable surgery and rehab will be made early next week.”

Skyler wrote he will be out of action for six months and noted that decisions on surgery and rehab will be made early next week.

Skyler & Brady Pierce took on The Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson) on AEW Dark where Skyler was injured. This was Skyler’s third match on AEW Dark. They lost the match.

In his AEW debut, he teamed with Pierce and lost to Joey Janela and Sonny Kiss on the May 26th episode of Dark. He also lost to Billy Gunn on the June 2nd episode of Dark.
