Kenny Omega Says Alex Shelley Was Lucky To Miss Hard To Kill

During last month’s IMPACT Wrestling Hard To Kill PPV, a massive 6-Man Tag Team Main Event Match took place between AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and IMPACT World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers vs IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann, Chris Sabin and Moose.

Alex Shelley was supposed to be in the match but since he has to undergo physical therapy and there is a work rule that he is unable to travel and wrestle until he receives the COVID-19 vaccine, he was replaced by Moose.

AEW World Champion Kenny Omega took to his Twitter a little while back and told Alex Shelley that the IMPACT Wrestling veteran was lucky to have missed the Hard To Kill PPV as Shelley always wrestled the AEW World Champion like he wanted to kill him and that he was gonna pay him back for what he did.

Kenny Omega wrote, “This guy always wrestled me like he wanted to kill me. I was gonna pay it back on Impact. He’s lucky.”

The 6-Man Main Event Match ended up going in favor of the AEW World Champion Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers, a match that took place at IMPACT’s Hard To Kill PPV on January 16th, 2021.
