AEW Edits Crowd Reaction During Sabian/Ford Wedding Segment

During last Wednesday night’s Beach Break episode of Dynamite, a wedding ceremony segment between AEW Stars Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian took place. The promotion reportedly did some edits on the segment to have it run more smoothly than it was originally intended to, something AEW couldn’t do live. Miro had the microphone in his hands and asked the live crowd in attendance “What Is Love?”

The crowd inside Daily’s Place would then erupt and sing the tune of “What Is Love” by Haddaway. Miro then had no choice but to keep silent for a few moments as the crowd was singing. A decision was made by AEW President and CEO Tony Khan to not continue with the “Night At The Roxbury” song from Ford and Sabian’s actual wedding and to go with “What Is Love” by Haddaway instead.

This decision was apparently made in order to clean up the wedding ceremony segment as it desperately needed some editing done and great lengths of efforts was reportedly executed behind the polishing up of the segment prior to it being aired. There is no way to know what the actual crowd reaction was as it has reportedly been removed even from AEW’s official YouTube channel.

You can check out the edited video below, along with the music video of “What Is Love” by Haddaway:
