Kenny Omega Tops 2021 PWI 500 List, Roman Reigns Takes #2

Each and every year, Pro Wrestling Illustrated comes up with a list they call the PWI 500 List, which is a list where they rank the best 500 wrestlers in the world. Al Castle of Pro Wrestling Illustrated recently appeared on an episode of Busted Open Radio and revealed that AEW World Champion Kenny Omega is the #1 ranked wrestler in the 2021 PWI 500 list.

On the 2020 PWI 500 list, Kenny Omega ranked #13, while on the 2019 PWI 500 list, he ranked #8 and he ranked #1 on the 2018 PWI 500 list.

Next to AEW World Champion Kenny Omega on the 2021 PWI 500 list is WWE Universal Champion “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns, who is followed by The All Mighty WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, then WWE Star Drew McIntyre, Kota Ibushi, Jon Moxley, RevPro British Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay, Finn Balor, IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Shingo Takagi and Rich Swann.

Pro Wrestling Illustrated took to their Twitter and responded to a tweet from a fan who said that WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns almost took the #1 spot.
