Latest Update On Tessa Blanchard Possibly Signing With AEW

Immediately following last Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite, AEW announcer Tony Schiavone took part in an AEW Dynamite Post-Show, where he was asked if the promotion was considering bringing in one of the hottest free agents in wrestling today, Tessa Blanchard, to join its women’s division.

It doesn’t seem like AEW has any plans at the moment of bringing in Tessa Blanchard to the company as Tony Schiavone mentioned on the post-show that he doesn’t think it is happening, at least not anytime soon, otherwise he would have heard that if she was coming over.

This is what Tony Schiavone said:

“Yes, I don’t think that’s happening.” “At least not anytime soon. I would have heard that [if she’s coming over].”

It was previously reported that Blanchard has yet to decide which promotion she will sign with. Tessa Blanchard’s IMPACT Wrestling contract expired back on June 25th, 2020.
