Lights Out Stipulation Added To Moxley vs. Omega At AEW Full Gear

In this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, a new stipulation was added to the Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega match at Full Gear. Fans have been waiting for this match for a long time. It was canceled previously due to Moxley’s injured elbow.

Moxley vs. Omega will now be a Lights Out Match, which means it is not sanctioned, and the match does not count towards their win/loss record.

During AEW Dynamite, Moxley cut an in-ring promo and promised there would blood, and wrestling violence like fans have not seen.

At the beginning of AEW Dynamite, a camera picked up audio of Moxley in Tony Khan’s office. Khan said he decided to not sanctioning their match because of Moxley putting Omega through a glass table a few weeks prior. Moxley then said Khan would be responsible for what happens to Omega at Full Gear.

Previous Lights Out matches have taken place “after” a pay-per-view concluded. After the main event, the lights go out, then come back on. The ring announcer would tell fans that the following match is not sanctioned by the company, and they would go at it.

AEW Full Gear takes place Saturday, November 9, at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD. It is the company’s first PPV since debuting AEW Dynamite.
