Matt Hardy Talks Scary Fall On Dynamite, Reby Hardy Appears

Last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw Matt Hardy make an appearance and talk about the scary fall he endured at All Out that led to a devastating injury. Following Hardy’s devastating fall at AEW All Out, he was taken to a local medical facility.

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer would then report that Matt Hardy was released from the hospital and is said to be doing much better, but Reby Hardy, Matt’s wife, told Bryan Alvarez that neither Matt nor her spoke to him and that Matt Hardy stayed overnight for additional treatment.

All Elite Wrestling CEO Tony Khan would then announce that Matt Hardy will be on Dynamite, which would later be confirmed by Matt Hardy himself.

During the segment, Matt Hardy first thanked the fans in the crowd who where in the arena live for being there and he also thanked the fans at home.

Hardy then said that he suffered a “scary fall” at All Out and that the outpouring of love has been humbling. He said that after a bunch of tests, he will make a 100% recovery.

Matt Hardy then said that he is lucky and that he has got his wife, Reby Hardy, there in the crowd. He then says hi to his kids at home and apologizes to them for what they have been put through.

Hardy then apologized for the match and said that it wasn’t what he wanted it to be, but maybe it’s a good thing that his feud with Sammy Guevara is over. He then says that it is time for him to get back to being healthy and that when he is cleared, he wants to get back into wrestling, winning matches, and being the AEW Champion.

Hardy then thanked the fans again and waved at his wife. Hardy then made his way to the top of the stage, did a taunt, and headed to the back.
